What to see in Asilah
The medina, surrounded by Portuguese ramparts, is small, white and well kept. Its walls are decorated with murals, renewed with each edition of its cultural festival. From the ramparts, the view opens onto the ocean, especially at sunset.
Beaches and fish
Large Atlantic beaches stretch north and south of the town. Restaurants near the port serve fish: always ask the price before ordering, especially for fish sold by weight.
Planning the day
Leave in the morning, visit the medina before the heat, have lunch near the port, spend the afternoon on the beach and head back after watching the sunset from the ramparts.
