How to buy a second-hand phone

1. Ask for the IMEI number (dial *#06#) and check the device is not blocked.
2. Test the screen, battery, cameras, speaker and charging before paying.
3. Make sure the iCloud or Google account is removed: have the phone reset in front of you.
4. Ask for the box or receipt, and be wary of a price far below the market.
